The problems of mass consumerism, habitat loss, ecosystem breakdowns, CO2 build up, (etc, etc), will only get worse; exponentially (eg., more oil for plastics; more energy  for AI, etc, etc.). It is imperative we slow down and put more effort into building local, circular (no waste) economies built on local resources to provide food, water, wood and climate safe zones. It IS possible but a BIG shift in thinking is needed.
