Sun-Kissed Solar gives you a 10 year warranty on workmanship.

Manufacturers’ warranties on gear will be stated in the quote. In saying that, the main panels we use carry a 20 to 25 year warranty. The main inverters we use carry a ‘best in class’ 12 year warranty.

Sun-Kissed Solar specialises in shading issues. We, and most of our customers, live in the Blue Mountains: the city within a World Heritage Area. We have lots of trees! It’s our policy to make an on-site visit to assess every roof, to measure shading, roof space and aspects. We also use panels that are fitted with optimisers or micro-inverters. Click here for more information on our equipment. Two different technologies that help boost the efficiency of the system by up to 25% when shaded.

Good solar PV design begins with how much electricity you use or plan to use in the future. With data taken from your energy bills we design a system to try and meet your seasonal consumption demands. The size of the system also depends on how much roof space you have as well as what your budget is. We’ll take all three into account when designing and quoting the system for you. You will get the best, most cost efficient system possible.

Yes! Each brand of inverter has their own app. Or you can access via a web page on your laptop or desktop. The apps will show you solar production, battery state of charge, house hold energy consumption and grid import/export. We find that when people become more aware of their energy consumption and use the solar whilst the sun is shining (then not much at night) their bills come down dramatically.

Yes! Absolutely! The federal government still has the solar rebate scheme and will do for the next nine years. It decreases bit by bit each year, so the best time to connect the solar is now! Sun-Kissed Solar gives you a discount on the cost of the system equivalent to the price of the rebate.

Yes! Upon connection of your solar system you will need to contact your energy retailer and get them to come and change the old meter to a smart meter, if you don’t already have one. Also, whilst you got them on the phone, get them to put you on their solar feed-in tariff plan.
